Judy Runk

Judith A. Runk, RN, is a Manager in the Healthcare Consulting Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, having joined the firm in 2004. She is an experienced health care executive with over 30 years experience in healthcare and over ten years of consulting experience. Strengths include strong analytical skills and the abilility to apply those skills within a systems thinking environment. She has used available risk databases to improve processes in critical care and inpatient operations. Her clinical expertise is in Critical Care and Inpatient services and she has held positions from staff nurse through Nursing Executive. Ms. Runk has successfully used rapid design methodologies to use teams to support clinical improvement at the unit, department and institutional level. She has demonstrated ability to integrate core analytics, current trends in healthcare and the human elements of performance improvement. She has significant experience in clinical work redesign, care management, patient throughput, project development, education and quality improvement resulting in measurable clinical, quality and financial improvements.

Judy has formerly been President of the Board of Directors of Covenant Community Care, a free clinic for the uninsured in Detroit. During that time, she received grants from several community agencies to support the operations and expansion of the clinic.
