An exciting new sound for traditional carols...

COOLSIDE OF YULETIDE brings an exciting new sound and youthful energy to classic holiday carols. These urban arrangements were developed by noted composer Jim Papoulis and Francisco J. Núñez, founder and artistic director of the award-winning
Young People’s Chorus of New York City.

The album (also available on CD) includes:
Deck the Halls, Drummer Boy, Joy to the World, Abreme La Puerta, Sing for Peace, Angel Medley, Where are My Angels, We Three Kings, O’Christmas Tree, Let It Snow, Silent Night, Give Us Hope, and an original holiday song, How Many Christmases.

Thanks to modern digital technology, How Many Christmases unites Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Rosanne Cash and the Young People's Chorus of New York City with a global mix of choirs from across the 50 United States as well as Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia. The result is the first ever “virtual” global choir raising their voices in harmony.

The voices of Detroit Children's Choir's Touring Choir are among those of the "virtual" global choir on this recording!!!

As a fund raiser for the organization of opportunity for Detroit are children the choir will be selling "Coolside of Yuletide" for $15 each.
