The East Side Neighborhood Choir, which meets Tuesday evenings, will hold a registration evening on Tuesday, September 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at its regular rehearsal location, The Matrix Center, 13560 E. McNichols (at Gratiot), Detroit, 48205.  Choir placement will be determined at the time of registration after the singer’s interview.  The Beginning level meets from 5 – 6 pm and the Intermediate level rehearses from 6:30 – 7:30 pm each Tuesday. Latino Mission Society, 1450 McKinstry, Detroit, 48209 is the new rehearsal venue for the Southwest Neighborhood Choir. Registration for this group will take place at Latino Mission Society on Thursday, September 17th from 4 – 7 pm.  Materials for registration will be available in both English and Spanish.  The choir will meet Thursdays from 4 – 5:30 pm. Detroit Children’s Choir has now obtained 501(c)(3) status, making all contributions tax-deductible. We welcome community members to become involved as friends and supporters of the program, which will demonstrate to the children how important it is for them to have music in their lives.
