The Detroit Children’s Advanced Choir is the premiere ensemble of our organization, and it is open to treble and unchanged voices from ages 10 - 18. Participation in this highly selective ensemble requires an advanced understanding of music notation, sight-singing skills and ability to sing in tune with healthy vocal technique. They represent the DCC as our touring group with performances throughout the community.

The Concert Chorale is our auditioned mixed choir, made up of children from ages 8 to 18 from across Metro Detroit. Each member demonstrates good vocal technique, basic sight-reading skills, commitment, leadership and desire to learn. Students are accepted during open auditions. Members of the Concert Chorale will have the opportunity to perform at a variety of local and regional venues during the year, including Orchestra Hall with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Concert Chorale rehearses weekly at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center.
