The 260 singers in the Detroit Children’s Choir came from programs all around the city

The Touring Choir is a select group of singers who have participated in one of the in-school or neighborhood choirs for at least one semester and have passed an audition. Parents of these choir members must make a commitment to additional rehearsals and performance dates. Organizations interested in having the DCC Touring Choir perform at their event should contact director, Carol Schoch at 248-819-7191.
Special opportunities to perform around metropolitan Detroit
Expect to be inspired by the contagious power of the singing children in our city.
On May 4th, 2008, we held our 2nd annual Detroit Children’s Choir Spring Concert, which was a collaborative one with the 50 members of the Chicago Children’s Choir’s Neighborhood Choirs at the prestigious Music Hall. Click here to download the concert program.
